To install and use E-File®, you need the CD-ROM in the E-File® software package or the downloaded installer and the following minimum equipment and software.

Windows:
an Intel compatible 486/33 PC or higher
at least 32 MB of RAM for Windows 95, 98, Me (more preferred)
at least 64 MB of RAM for Windows NT 4.0, 2000 and XP (128 MB or more preferred)
a hard disk with at least 150 MB of free space
a CD-ROM drive
256 color monitor or better
Windows 95, 98, ME, Windows NT 4.0 (Service pack 3 or later), Windows 2000 or Windows XP Home Edition or Professional (all with Internet Explorer 4.0 or later)

Networking requirements
This edition of E-File® Business will host one user at a time, can be shared on a network and personalized for up to 10 users.

Internet/World Wide Web requirements for Windows (Optional)
Some of the advanced features of E-File® require additional software.

(a) For URL support, URL.DLL is required.
(b) To open a URL from within E-File®, URL.DLL is required.

The DLL is installed with a Typical installation of Windows 98, Windows 95, and Windows NT 4.0.

Important: Access to the Internet requires an Internet service provider (ISP).
E-File® does not provide an Internet account for you.
